Academia divulga lista com os 112 longas elegíveis a Melhor Trilha Sonora



O maior destaque da lista foi justamente a falta de uma grande produção, ‘O Regresso‘.

Isso por que a Academia de Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas de Hollywood tem como regra que a Trilha Sonora deve ser assinada por apenas um profissional e não por dois, como é o caso do drama.

O ator e comediante Chris Rock foi confirmado como mestre de cerimônia do Oscar 2016. A premiação será realizada no Teatro Dolby, em Los Angeles, em 28 de fevereiro de 2016.

Os indicados serão anunciados em 14 de janeiro.

O número de indicados ao Oscar de Melhor Filme em 2016 poderá ser reduzido para cinco. Até 2009, eram indicados apenas cinco filmes ao prêmio principal, mas as regras foram modificadas e desde então a Academia indica no máximo dez filmes. Uma fração significativa dos votantes agora deseja retomar a antiga política de indicar cinco filmes na tentativa de recuperar o prestígio do Oscar.

Com o aumento no número de indicados, a Academia esperava também impulsionar a audiência da cerimônia, mas seis anos depois o experimento se mostrou um fracasso. Este ano, a transmissão do Oscar nos EUA teve uma queda na audiência de 15% em relação a 2014.

Em 2015, apenas um sucesso de bilheteria estava entre os indicados ao prêmio máximo, ’Sniper Americano’, já que a preferência dos 6.000 membros da Academia continua sendo por filmes de arte. Nos anos anteriores, super arrecadações como ‘Avatar’ e ‘Toy Story 3’ conseguiram indicações a Melhor Filme e, consequentemente, elevar os índices de audiência da cerimônia.

A Academia revelou as datas para a 88ª, 89ª e 90ª edições do Oscar. As próximas três cerimônias serão realizadas em 28 de fevereiro de 2016, 26 de fevereiro de 2017 e 4 de março de 2018.
