O trabalho da Beyoncé com o álbum autointitulado foi reconhecido pela redação da revista Rolling Stone. A música “Drunk In Love”, em parceria com o marido Jay Z, foi eleita a melhor do ano pelos editores da publicação.
No ranking divulgado pela revista, com 50 faixas, há ainda Taylor Swift (com “Blank Space”), Sam Smith (com “Stay With Me”), Sia (com “Chandelier”), Iggy Azalea (com “Fancy”), Lana Del Rey (com “Brooklyn Baby”), Drake (com “0 to 100/The Catch Up”) e Maroon 5 (com “Animals”). Todos entre o 6º e o 32º lugares.
